Public Service Announcement
I'd fallen behind on reading and answering comments. I think I've gotten to everyone now. Sorry--life gets so busy sometimes. Real post a bit later.

You know it's not required that you answer every comment. B^)
Well, I was going to ignore your post, just to make a point, but...argh! I. Just. Can't.
What can I say, I come from a guilt-ridden people. And I like discussion more than pontification.
But I have no idea how some people find the time to answer all their things so quickly!
Miss Syl, one of the things I've come to enjoy about your blog is that you do respond to your readers!
Don't worry about timeliness. Your comebacks are worth the wait.
I usually manage to read mine, but don't always get to respond. Mostly I just get happy when people interact through the comments that they post. ;)
Thanks, Cherrie m'dear, that's very sweet of you. Though I think life being what it is, Karl Elvis is right and I guess I shouldn't feel *obligated* to answer everything all the time if I can't manage it. And ultimately, my ideal is not to have a one-way or two-way conversation, but a whole orgiastic, communal debate going on.
Dark Daughta: Yes, I feel the same. the best state is to just have everyone talking to each other, so even if I can't answer everyone, they're still in a lively discussion. I do try my best to keep up, but you're right that the important part is that the conversation's getting started. I need to give myself a little break from feeling so responsible all the time, maybe. :)
